We believe environmental stewardship and sustainable initiatives make good business sense. It’s easy to say you’re green, but it’s not so easy to actually be green. At Floor iT today, we’ve been “green” for a while. Now it’s time to tell our story.

• One of the most pressing environmental concerns in our day is what to do with the billions of pounds of post-consumer waste that is discarded every year. This waste is rapidly filling our landfills and can pose serious environmental threats.
• More than 4.6 billion pounds of post-consumer carpet goes to landfills each year, and the number grows annually
• FlooriTtoday is the only Retail Flooring company in Texas that has successfully closed the loop. We have invested over the past year more than $350,000.00 in a Post consumer carpet and reclamation center (Carpet Recovery International ) to insure that every single yard of your used carpet and pad does not go to landfill.
• We always seek ways to Recover, Reduce, Recycle, and Reuse
• We at Floor iT Today, have diverted more that 1.5 million pounds of Used carpet and 1.9 million pounds in 9 months from Houston Landfills
